What's Inside the Explorers Collector's Box? Garphill FAQ

Quick answer

The Explorers Collector's Box contains only a custom removable plastic insert designed by Black Magic Inserts. It is designed to fit Explorers, Rocks of Ruin, and the Crew Mini-Expansion. It adds no gameplay components and does not replace the base game.

What exactly is inside the box?

The only contents are the custom insert. There are no cards, boards, miniatures, or rulebooks included. The box itself is the product, and the insert is the functional part that organizes your existing game components.

Does it fit all Explorers content?

It is designed to fit Explorers, Rocks of Ruin, and the Crew Mini-Expansion. If you own those three, the insert gives each a dedicated spot. Other expansions or promos are not mentioned in the supplied product details, so check your collection before buying.

Is this an upgrade or a new game?

It is a storage upgrade, not a gameplay expansion. You still need the base game and any expansions you want to play. The box simply consolidates them into one container with a removable insert.

How does it compare to the base game box?

The base game box holds only the core components. The Collector's Box is larger and designed to hold multiple products together. It does not include the base game itself, so it is an add-on for existing owners.

Why choose a collector's box?

It reduces shelf space and setup time by keeping related content in one place. The removable insert lets you lift components out or store them securely. If you own the supported expansions and want a tidy solution, this is a practical pick.
