The mat's surface makes picking up and sliding the tiles way easier than playing on a bare table, and the artwork actually matches the board instead of clashing with it. Rolls flat right out of the tube too, no curling edges to fight with.

The extra space around the edges is exactly what I needed for the artisan cards and leftover tiles. Played three games back to back and nothing slid out of place once.

Finally a mat that actually keeps all the player boards from sliding around during a hectic round—the size fits our table perfectly and it rolls up flat for storage when we’re done. Setup takes seconds, and it’s made our game nights noticeably smoother.
