Works of Wonder は、メインボードに拡張を加え、新しい貢献カード／結果カードを置き、プレイヤーの影響力を管理できるようにします。プレイヤーは5つの驚異を建設するために競い合いながら、メインボード上を移動する新しい王女と商人のトークンから支援を得ます。また、対戦相手となる6人のユニークな敵が登場する、まったく新しいソロプレイシステムも含まれています。
The five wonders themselves are chunky cardboard with a nice finish, and racing to claim them completely changes how the table negotiates. The added side board for the contribution and consequence cards fits the main board perfectly, no wobble at all. Racing to build all five wonders kept everyone at the table way longer than our usual games.
