아시리아의 목표는 게임 종료 시 가장 많은 승점(VP)을 획득하는 플레이어가 되는 것입니다. 주로 오두막과 지구라트를 짓고, 제물을 바치고, 영향력을 높여 점수를 얻습니다. 각 라운드에서 플레이어는 턴 순서를 위해 입찰하고, 지도에서 확장하며, 다양한 행동을 취합니다. 세 번째와 여섯 번째 라운드가 끝난 후에는 홍수가 발생하여 두 강을 따라 모든 것이 쓸려 내려갑니다. 마지막 홍수 후에 가장 많은 점수를 얻은 플레이어가 승리합니다.

Played this three times already and the area control tension keeps every round interesting. The included bag of 8 wooden replacement tokens is a nice touch since the cardboard ones would've worn out fast. Fighting over ziggurats has never been this fun.
The wooden replacement tokens are such a thoughtful addition, way better than the flimsy cardboard ones in most games. Played a full session with four people and the scoring stayed tense right to the last round.
The separate bag with 8 wooden replacement tokens is such a thoughtful touch—we lost one during our second session and had a spare ready in seconds. Setup took us about ten minutes and the victory point scoring kept everyone engaged right to the final turn.
