Alternativt kan spillerne slå seg sammen for å ta knekken på den nådeløse Overherren i separate samarbeidsmoduser for hvert spill i West Kingdom Trilogy.
The campaign mode is what sold me, and it delivers — tracking tomes across sessions makes every game feel connected instead of standalone. The border defense mechanics add real tension to the later scenarios.
Three sessions into the campaign and we're already arguing over who gets the next tome, which is exactly the kind of tension I want from this. The way the expansion ties building, defending, and influence into one ongoing journey makes the base game feel twice as deep.
The campaign mode finally gives our group a reason to keep coming back week after week, and the race to collect those tomes adds just the right amount of tension between turns. Setup took a bit longer than the base game, but the epic arc across multiple sessions is well worth it.
