This product is a promotional board set from the 2025 Kickstarter for Assyria: 2nd Edition which can optionally be used with the game Assyria Second Edition. It includes 2 new Civilisation boards to add to the game.
The two extra civilisation boards add a nice bit of variety to my games, and they slot right into the second edition setup without any confusion. Glad I grabbed them during the campaign instead of waiting.
Picked these up as a Kickstarter backer and the two civilisation boards slot right into my existing set with no issues. The Scythians board in particular plays differently enough that it feels like a proper addition rather than a rehash.
The extra boards are a great reason to back the Kickstarter—the Hurian civ adds a fresh dynamic I didn't expect. Setup was smooth and the artwork blends perfectly with the base game.
