FOR OWNERS OF THE 1ST EDITION OF CIRCADIANS: FIRST LIGHT
This Upgrade Kit comes in the larger, 2nd Edition box for First Light, with the Specialists Expansion components included inside box (you don't need to get the Specialists Expansion separately). Also inside are all printed components from the 2nd Edition base game, larger wooden resources, and custom insert. The only items you will need to keep from the 1st Edition are all wooden components, dice, and harvesters.

The Specialists expansion being tucked right inside the box was a nice surprise — I expected to have to track those components down separately. Everything fit my first edition pieces perfectly, and the bigger box actually holds the sleeved cards without bowing.

Wasn't sure I needed this since I already owned the first edition, but having the Specialists Expansion packed right in the box saved me from hunting down the pieces separately. The insert holds everything snug, so nothing shifts around when I carry it to game night.

The new box is noticeably sturdier than the 1st edition, and having the Specialists Expansion already packed inside it was a huge relief—no extra shipping or hunting for a separate box. Setup took a bit of space on the shelf, but everything slid in neatly with room to spare.
