Wasn't sure I needed three more public Buildings, but competing over them totally changed how our group plans each round. The thick Player Boards are a small thing that makes a big difference on the table, and the extra Townsfolk and Heroes give you way more paths to build toward.
The Chest Tiles add a nice layer of risk to the buildings race, way more than I expected. Three new public buildings means every game plays out differently, which fixed the one thing that was getting stale for our group.
