Cílem hry Raiders of Scythia je být hráčem s největším počtem bodů vítězství (VP) na konci hry. VP se získávají pleněním osad, braním kořisti a plněním úkolů. Hráči budou muset sestavit posádku, vycvičit zvířata a shromáždit zásoby. Hra končí, když na hlavní desce zůstanou pouze 2 nevypleněné osady nebo 2 úkoly.
