What Is the Ancient Anthology Promo Pack?
This promo pack was originally offered during the 2022 Legacy of Yu Kickstarter campaign. It bundles exclusive cards for the first three Ancient Anthology games: Raiders of Scythia, Hadrian's Wall, and Legacy of Yu. Each set adds a small gameplay twist without changing the core rules.
FAQ: Ancient Anthology Promo Pack
- Which games are included?
- Raiders of Scythia, Hadrian's Wall, and Legacy of Yu. Covers the first three Ancient Anthology titles.
- How many cards come in the pack?
- Total of 17 cards: 4 hero cards for Raiders of Scythia, 12 fate cards for Hadrian's Wall, 1 champion barbarian card for Legacy of Yu, plus 3 rules cards. Each game gets its own rules card, so setup is straightforward.
- Do these cards change the game rules?
- No. They are optional add-ons that introduce new characters or events but do not alter the base rules. You can integrate them or leave them out. Great for players who want variety without complexity.
- Is this pack worth buying if I own only one of the games?
- If you only own one of the three, you'll still get value from that game's promos, but the other cards will be unused. Consider whether the price of the pack justifies getting cards you can't use. Best for collectors or fans of at least two of the three games.
- Are the cards compatible with expansions?
- The cards are designed for the base games. They should work alongside any official expansions, but Garphill Games has not published specific compatibility notes. Assume they integrate as standard promos.
