Category: Expansion
This expansion introduces the new King's Order and Outsider Cards, new Building Bonus Cards, Manuscript Boards, and plenty of new Townsfolk, Heroes and Manuscripts Tiles.
The Manuscript Boards finally give all those tiles a real purpose, and my group spent a solid hour just comparing which ones to grab first. The new Building Bonus Cards slot in without slowing down turns, which honestly surprised me for an expansion this size.
The Outsider Cards add a nice layer of unpredictability without slowing the game down, and the new Townsfolk fit right into our existing decks. We've played four rounds now and the Building Bonus Cards alone have changed how everyone plans their turns.
The Manuscript Boards are such a clever addition—they add a whole new layer of planning without slowing down the game. The new Outsider Cards also shake up player interaction in fresh ways, making every session feel different. We've played three times since it arrived and it's already a staple.
