This mini expansion for Chaos Order adds 12 Leader Cards, 6 Attribute Cards, 12 Tactics Cards, and 2 new Production Tokens.
Each Faction now has 2 new Leaders to choose from. After deploying their starting Leader during setup, they must select 2 of their other Leaders, and return them to the box. This provides a lot more variability and strategies to discover within each Faction.
The six new Attribute Cards finally make the weaker factions feel viable, and the two Production Tokens add just enough tension to the mid-game. Twelve new Tactics Cards also means my usual strategy no longer works every time, which is exactly what I wanted from this.
Having two new Leaders per faction totally changed how my group drafts, and the Tactic cards add just enough unpredictability without dragging the game out. We got three plays in one night and nobody wanted to stop.
The extra production tokens are a small touch, but they make a real difference in how cramped the early game feels.
